Next week, principals will follow with detailed division specific and grade level information, and you will be asked to make a decision about whether your child will begin in the hybrid or virtual model.
Here at RVIS, we have been busy planning to ensure a successful start to the 2020/21 school year. We continue to follow the guidance of the Bahrain COVID-19 Task Force, the MOE and the MOH.
Today, we are pleased to share our Community Playbook for 20/21. This outlines the work undertaken by our Futures Design Team on June 20 and 21. As always, this is a representation of our best thinking at this time. Plans are iterative and fluid, and will evolve as we gain more information. Tonight, RVIS will be celebrating its Fifth Graduation Ceremony under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Join us in watching our graduates receive their diplomas and begin the next chapter of their lives. It will truly be a night to remember.
Our main goals when launching virtual school was to maintain a strong connection with our community and continue to provide a quality education for our students. While the future is unknown, we want to reassure our families that the Learning will Continue. RVIS has three learning options for the 2020-2021 school year so we are ready to welcome our families back on campus and/or virtually.
As we write to you in our ninth week of Virtual School, we remain incredibly grateful and inspired by our community, for even though our campus is closed, learning continues. Our RVIS Community of students, teachers, and parents demonstrate each day what a remarkable community we are.
Virtual School has resumed successfully after Spring Break, and we remain incredibly grateful for the support and positivity of our community ~ thank you!
Entering Week Three of Virtual School! Thank you for your continued support. We can't wait to see everyone again.
